data-end=\"1330\">Capybara music resources<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> were never part of my lesson plans\u2014until my students brought them into the classroom.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"249\" data-end=\"337\">At the beginning of this year, I started noticing something curious in my music lessons.<\/p><p data-start=\"339\" data-end=\"490\">My students \u2014ages 6 to 11\u2014 arrived with capybaras everywhere.<br data-start=\"400\" data-end=\"403\" \/>Plush toys, backpacks, stickers, little figures\u2026 and they talked about them constantly.<\/p><p data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"635\">And as often happens in my classroom, instead of ignoring the trend, I thought:<br data-start=\"571\" data-end=\"574\" \/><strong data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"635\">What if I use this excitement to motivate music learning?<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1912632 elementor-widget-laptop__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"1912632\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" elementor-element-e398af7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e398af7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"851\">I teach private, group, and online music lessons, and my approach is always the same:<br data-start=\"778\" data-end=\"781\" \/>I want my students to <strong data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"850\">feel excited and truly enjoy learning music<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"853\" data-end=\"955\">That\u2019s how a simple but powerful idea was born:<br data-start=\"900\" data-end=\"903\" \/>a <strong data-start=\"905\" data-end=\"954\">music repertoire sheet with capybara stickers<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"957\" data-end=\"1082\">Each student had their own sheet.<br data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"993\" \/>Every time they learned a new song or piece, they earned a capybara sticker to add to it.<\/p><p data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1196\">Suddenly, practicing at home wasn\u2019t a chore anymore \u2014 it became a game.<br data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1158\" \/>Almost like a <strong data-start=\"1172\" data-end=\"1195\">music sticker album<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1198\" data-end=\"1285\">The change was immediate:<br data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1226\" \/>more motivation, more consistency, and a lot of excitement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0213612 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0213612\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\ud83c\udfa4\ud83c\udfb9\ud83c\udfb8 Music Resources for Different Instruments<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c338fc9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c338fc9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"1345\" data-end=\"1381\">I adapted this repertoire sheet for:<\/p><ul><li data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1393\">singing<\/li><li data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1393\">piano<\/li><li data-start=\"1406\" data-end=\"1415\">ukulele<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1472\">But in reality, it can be used with <strong data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1471\">any instrument<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1474\" data-end=\"1646\">\ud83d\udc49 <em data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1646\">I\u2019ll be sharing this capybara-themed repertoire sheet as a free downloadable resource through a Canva link, so other music teachers can use it with their own students.
